First Deserve, Then Desire

PAKKI KHWAISH, KACCHI KOSHISHE…… The meaning of the words written above (though the spelling might be atrociously wrong) could be best brought out only when written in Hindi. We all have ambitions to achieve fame, respect, honor from the world but when it comes to labor not everyone is ready to go till the end. I have seen this personally and it has happened to me too. So I would like to bring out the meaning of this beautiful saying-First deserve, then desire by quoting my own personal experience and story. Here it goes…. I have been a quitter all my life. My parents and friends know this. I had great talent and even could be an all rounder but maybe I was caught in that “Talent Trap”. I was amazing at sports and any sports. John Donne John Donne was an English Poet and had written this amazing poem— No man is Island. The name of this poem was also used by  Ruskin Bond — as a collection of his short stories and essays.
